Zechariah Hardy

Zechariah Hardy

Full of joy and focused on loving his neighbor. Zech lived his faith, but he wasn’t a sanctimonious guy. He was an unusual find in this day and age: never an unkind word, and not an enemy to be found. His mind was a steel trap: Zech knew every state, every country and all their capitols. Academically he was a few years ahead, attaining an associates degree around the time most of us would be finishing high school. Not just a reader; a reader who remembered. Like most of us in the area he loved the Eagles and Phils. And he loved his time on the links, blessed to get a job at Scotland Run.

Zech is survived by his parents Timothy and Tracy; his siblings Samuel and Rebekah; he was the grandson of Ralph and Dolores Lerro and Bob and the late Peg Hardy.
Come celebrate 19 great years Friday 6-8 p.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9 a.m. Saturday at Corpus Christi Church, Carney’s Point. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Woolwich.

We had the chance to talk with Zechariah quite often as golf members at Scotland Run. What a bright young man with such wonderful manners and kindness every time we played. We often left the golf course saying to each other, “what a great kid he is!” Our deepest condolences to Sam who was so proud to turn the reigns over to his brother as he went off to college. Our thoughts and prayers to the entire Hardy family at this difficult time.
