Violet K Wright

Violet K Wright

Violet met Bill, her husband when he came to collect a debt from her brother. Bill still doesn’t know if the debt was paid but what he does know is that he collected Violet as his bride. Sixty nine years later he considers the debt paid plus interest. As fast as Violet was with a smile she was faster yet with witty remarks. Her ladylike demeanor didn’t prepare anyone for her dry sense of humor. Like Bill O’Reilly, Violet enjoyed a new word a day expanding her vocabulary and passing words on to her sons. So it figures reading was important to her. Her sons found Violet was a stickler on pronouncing words properly. No baby talk was one of her mantras. Violet said teach them correctly the first time .rn Violet did not need the Food Network for advise on cooking she was an excellent “down home cook” and used much of what grew in Bill’s garden . rnIn addition to her husband ,William Sr. Violet is survived by sons: William, Jr.(Margo) and Michael (Nancy), grandchildren: Jenny and Amy Wright , Tracy Sparks(David), Daniel and Lewis Wright, and five great grandchildren.rnThe Wright family celebrated 93 easy going years with a graveside service held at St. Paul’s U.M. Cemetery, Bridgeport. rnDonations in memory of Violet may be made to either Hudson U. M. Church, 31 N. Railroad Ave., Pedricktown, NJ 08067 or Alzheimer Assoc., 3 Eves Dr. Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053rnArrangements by Daley Life Celebration Studio.rnLeave a memory of Violet at www.lifecelebrationstudio.com. rn
