Teresa McDermott

Teresa McDermott

Blind dates don’t always end in disaster. Her’s led to 49 years of a wonderful marriage to her late husband John. Together they were blessed with three children: Betty Bollinger of Delran, Jeanne McDermott of Hatfield PA and Kevin McDermott of Delran. They were the reason Teresa lived. With two daughters Girl Scouting was a natural. But she also had a little league team, which lost in combat to her husband’s team. She demanded the BEST from her children, so they could become the best they could be.rnAs her granddaughter said “Nanny was good, strong, and stubborn as any Sicilian woman should be”. After the kids left the nest, she and her husband enjoyed 16 cruises. They did the job of raising their children, then they enjoyed the Caribbean sun.rnrnIn addition to her children she is survived by a brother Russell Micciche, 3 grandchildren Heather Feliciano, Frank McDermott, and Terri McDermott and 2 great grandchildren: Mario and Ava Feliciano.rnCome celebrate 78 family centered years at a memorial Mass Saturday, March 21,10:30AM at Holy Name RC Church, 260 Conrow Rd., Delran.
