Ruby Ramirez

Ruby Ramirez

She had a song in her heart; Ruby played it for all the world to hear. She could pick up just about any instrument and play you a tune, but she was certainly great at the flute, cello and piano. She sang pitch perfect. But Ruby was always working on something creative from her music to her writing. If someone needed a friend, Ruby was there; she made the new kids feel welcome. She had a fear of animals until she got a cat and hand picked Gizmo (affectionately known as Ruby’s Dog). After that she became a bona fide animal lover. And babies lit up anytime she was close by. She loved her family unconditionally and was psyched about becoming an Aunt. Sunny days found her heading off outside on her bike, swimming in her Uncle’s pool or soaking in some rays on the beach. And she’d never leave you hungry: Ruby’s learning extended into the kitchen. She made all kinds of cookies and deserts. But, her greatest love was for the Lord; Ruby spread his Love wherever she went.

She is survived by her parents, Michael Ramirez and Tonya Kean-Ramirez; her siblings, Eric Adam, River (Lexi), Nickolai, Joel and Isabella; her grandparents, Martha and William Kean and Mildred Torres; her great grandmother, Barbara Kean; her niece and nephew, Brooke and Jasper; her aunts and uncles and many cousins.

Come celebrate 10 great years Sunday May 20 at 2:30 p.m. at Woodbury Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 330 East Barber Ave, Woodbury NJ 08096. Donations in lieu of flowers to the above mentioned church will be appreciated. Flowers, if desired, should be ordered from Flowers by Sweeten (856-845-1796).

    Dear Ramirez Family,
I cannot express my condolences enough….I was an Aide in Ruby’s. writing class. She had the absolute best soul and was a complete joy to be with. I honestly have never met anyone with such sweetness and love for everyone that she met. Every girl would say “Ruby and I, are best friends!” She truly touched every person that she met at school.

I have happy memories of Ruby sitting at my table, not because she needed help. Obviously, she was a fantastic writer. She would sit and tell me stories, and we would joke and laugh together. I will never forget her sweet demeanor. I consider myself lucky enough to have known her.

May God Bless your family…today, tomorrow and every day after. You all have the best guardian Angel in heaven to protect you and keep you safe.

    Sincerely,
Colleen Seelig. Or Mrs. S. (as Ruby knew me) ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I first met Ruby when she was 2 years old. What a beautiful, happy baby! Ruby was full of life and a joy to be around. As she grew older she blessed our church with her singing . It was delightful to hear her sing with brother Joel and little sister Bella. She couldn’t wait to join the primary Sabbath School class where brother Joey was. The day finally came. She was kindhearted and always willing to pray out loud and always requested prayer for her family, but especially for her Daddy.
What a joy to play board games and musical chairs and all the other activities at our church socials , and sing at the Nursing home with Ruby!! I am thankful for all these precious memories and more!!!! Looking forward to seeing her one day on that Sea of Glass where we will never again experience the sting of sadness and separation!!! Beautiful Ruby, you were an inspiration and blessing to us all❤️.
    Mrs. Betty and Mr. Josh
