Myrtle M. Robbins

Myrtle M. Robbins

Dancing with the Stars missed their chance: with Myrtle’s energy and ability she would have had a lock on that mirror ball. She never had a favorite dance, she just did them all. Sunday nights found her decked out with dancing shoes heading off to Single Parents in Brooklawn; Tuesdays she graced Friendly Singles in Bellmawr. At age 84 she outpaced her grandkids: until just recently she mowed her own lawn, substituted as room mother for her daughter and granddaughter and took the grandkids skiing in Killington, Vt. When out on son Joe’s boat he never went fast enough for her liking and, like all great grandmothers, she rode on a motorcycle all the way to Bikers Week in Daytona, Fl: looking for adventure and whatever comes her way. But perhaps her biggest thrill was seeing Elvis in concert in Hawaii.

Myrtle was the wife of the late Paul A. Sr. and is survived by their children: Paul Jr., Chuck, Debra Misuraco, Donna Clark (Doug), Joseph (Chloe), a sister, Phyllis Pierson, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
You’re either in or you’re out but come celebrate 84 vivacious years Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio where there will be a service at 11 am. Interment Lake Park Cemetery, Swedesboro.

I am very sorry for your loss. She was the healthiest woman that age I know, she had so much energy, ballroom and other dancing few nights a week. Keeping up the yard , being there fort her grandchildren and great grandchilden all the times for activities in and out of school. Always had a kind word. Would come to all the holiday dinners at her daughter Donnas and help with everything. She will be sadly missed so much …RIP Myrtle

I am very sorry for your loss. She was the healthiest woman at her age i know. And energy, she had so much, she would go ballroom dancing and other dances few times a week. Always dressed beautifully to the tee and cute as a button. She was very active with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she was always doing activities in school and also out of school. She would spend all holiday dinners at her daughter Donna’ s and would enjoy helping. She always had a kind word. And would always be there for her children. She will be sadly missed. May she rest in peace…Love Maria ..
