Min McManus

Min McManus

She was one of thirteen children, so to be number one was hard. But Min sure did try. She a brother and a sister were adopted; they arrived from Seoul, Korea in March, 1985. She departed the plane and immediately started giving out hugs. If being number one was based on being affectionate, she’d have had it locked up. When the family expanded with new babies she would go into mommy mode, even if some said she was a little bossy. She was never more comfortable than when she had a baby in her arms. She moved to the Rehoboth area to be close to the fun and sun. Her cross stitching showcased both her love of crafts and her meticulous style: it was as neat in the back as it was in the front. She created all sorts of exotic dishes: she enjoyed eating as much as cooking, but sometimes would make them just to influence the mood of her home.rnShe is survived by her parents: Ira McManus Jr., and Sharon McManus-Ward; Step-mother, Leslie McManus; siblings: Jae, Ira III, Rebecca, Michael, Ethan, Claire, Lauren, Abigail, Wyatt all McManus, Jennifer Wirtz, Megan Humphrey, Sue Giannone. She is also survived by her companion, James Bennett and many nieces and nephews.rnCome celebrate 31 years of smiles and hugs Friday 6-8 pm at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro and Saturday from 10:00 am at Sewell Community Baptist Church, Mantua Blvd., Sewell where there will be an 11:00 a.m. service.rnTell a great a story of Min at lifecelebrationstudio.comrn

Couldn’t have said it better myself about Min. First thing I remember about Min was her sitting on everybody’s laps when she came to a backyard party. She was a cuddly & adorable 4 year old who grew into a smiley, poised beautiful woman. We’ll love you & miss you Min…but we know we’ll meet again……<3 May God bless the whole family with precious memories of your daughter and sister. Jim……we are terribly sorry for your loss as well.

Although I did not personally know Min, I know her loving parents and sister Lauren and youngest brother Wyatt. Our hearts ache for the pain they feel but know with their wonderful family support and love of G-d they will get through this terrible time. We send you all our sympathy and loving friendship. May Min rest in peace in the hands of the Lord.

i met Min when i was new to my elementary school in 4th grade…a scary age for kids to start making new friends to say the least…but the only person i can remember being more than welcoming to me (besides the teacher) was Min…she let me know that she would be my friend right from the start, without even really knowing me…something very big to do for being such a little person…kids can be cruel, that was something Min didn’t even know how to do…we stayed very close friends through elementary school, but seemed to loose touch starting junior high….these are all just random thoughts off the top of my head, but as i reminisce about her adorable little face, smile and personality, i feel comforted….maybe its because she had such a beautiful and genuine soul…all she did was love…she is gone from this earth entirely too soon…until we meet again one day, Min….heaven really does have an angel now… love, kacee, your best friend from 4th grade xoxoxox

Ira, Leslie and Sharon: I am soooo sorry for your lost. By what I have read above about your daughter she seemed like a wonderful person to get to know. Getting to know Ira and Leslie has been a fun experience and to be sure it would be the same in all their children. May God Bless and Comfort you all in this time of sorrow. Sandy

I am truly sorry and I send my condolences to a very special friend and his family. It is this friend who has been very essential to my survival many times over. He has always been God’s hand when it came to my care. Remember this Ira Deuteronomy 4:31 31for Jehovah thy God is a merciful God; he will not fail thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he swore unto them. Hebrews 13:5-6, “5. Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee. 6. So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper; I will not fear: What shall man do unto me?? n According to Galatians 3:28-29 you qualify for both of the scripture above, ?28There can be neither Jew nor Greek, there can be neither bond nor free, there can be no male and female; for ye all are one man in Christ Jesus. 29And if ye are Christ?s, then are ye Abraham?s seed, heirs according to promise.? Min will always be grateful and I am sure she wants you and the rest of your family to take comfort in God?s word in this moment of sorrow.nnJodfrien
