Loretta Cisek

To know Loretta was to know that a home does not rest upon the ground, but upon a woman. She acquired her motherly skills at a young age, while growing up in Philadelphia, she was always there to help raise her 6 siblings. At the same time, her persistent nature helped her to rise through the ranks to become Executive Secretary to the VP of the Philco Company. But her true career always revolved around family. With her husband, she moved to a farm in Columbus, NJ to raise children of her own. Always the life of the party, she was always happy to fill the house with friends and family, but Christmas was her favorite. Likewise, at her home in Surf City she loved being social. It wasn’t uncommon for her to be found playing bridge with a group of friends or at the Surf City Yacht Club. rn Loretta did not have to look far to find true love, her husband Frank was her neighbor. They married shortly after he returned from WWII, and before his passing in 2000 their lives were blessed by their children: Frank, Jr. “Drew” (Cindy) of Hainesport, Martin (Carol) of Riverside and Lori Craft (Don) of Burlington Twp., as well as their grandchildren: Michael and Caitlin. She is also survived by her sister Dolores Sadowski. rn Having always been there for others, Loretta was especially thankful to those who were there for her, specifically the staffs at Brightview in Mt. Laurel, Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly, and her nieces Cheryl Cutillo and Nancy Dennion. rn Come celebrate Loretta’s 85 wonderful years Tuesday from 8:30-10 AM at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 AM at St. Casimir Church, New Jersey Ave., Riverside. Interment will be held privately at Beverly National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the church at Resurrection Parish PO Box 1099, Delran, NJ 08075 or Samaritan Hospice 5 Eves Dr. Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.rn
