Joanne Kusmanick

“This too shall pass.“ Joanne never let life’s road bumps affect her attitude. Lest she not forget to be thankful she kept a journal of everything good that happened to her. The check out line at the dollar store or Kohl’s was a social experience for Joanne. She’d leave the store with some purchased items and a bunch of new friends. She thought the most powerful part of the body should be the ear. Joanne was a powerful listener. Her home was always open to her kid’s friends who used her as a sounding board; she gave sage advice. Clients at ARC in Woodbury also found a home in her craft room where Joanne taught them to make craft items to sell. As a child summers were spent in Brigantine where she collected shells and never got her bathing suit wet. When burgers were 28 cents her gang hung out at the McDonalds in Woodbury. It‘s there the Deptford High girl named Joanne would meet a Woodbury High guy named John. Their 43 year marriage was blessed with a son John 3rd (Jamie) and daughter JoElla (James) and 2 grandchildren, Jonas and Jada. Joanne is survived by her 2 brothers, John and Ed Blansche and her sister, Lynn Stott and her mother Joan.
Come celebrate 62 giving years Thursday October 5 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio where the service will begin at 4 p.m.

She and Jan saved my life 9yrs ago and gave me back so many things I had been careless about. My sanity and serenity was always a phone call away and there will be a place in my heart that belongs to her always. She is forever a part of my life’s story and the story I’ll pass down for generations to come. Bill W. gave me a gift the day I met you Jo.

I loved how I could always spend hours talking with Joanne….even if JoElla wasn’t home. There aren’t enough words to describe how much she will be missed. I love you all, Kusmanick family. A piece of our heart is in Heaven.

Joanne was a kind spirited person who lit up a room when she entered. I have had the pleasure of meeting her along my journey. She will be sadly missed. Rest In Peace my friend❤️

Dear JoElla, John and Kusmanick family, Greg, Lexi and I are so sorry to hear about Mom’s passing. I was only lucky to be in her company a handful of times throughout her life, but the moments we shared Joanne certainly did light up the room with her smile, always made you feel welcome. Very special lady.
