James F. Doerrmann

James F. Doerrmann

Jim wore a perpetual smile and was quick with a chuckle. He was reliable and determined to do good and necessary things. That license plate “SHS 42” always produced a smile and wave. After serving in WWII as a sergeant in the Army he returned home to farm with family. Later he became the Municipal Clerk for Woolwich Twp. and retired after 27 years. Retirement brought more time to golf (with Myrtle Beach trips), fish, hunt and bowl. Septembers found him in Townsend’s Inlet on his boat “Good Grief”. It was there that he taught his daughter and grandkids the fine art of pulling in the big one. Jim was active with the Paulsboro-Swedesboro Masonic Lodge F&Am #157.rnrnJim married his high school sweetheart , Marion Rainey and they spent the last 62 years together. He is also survived by daughter, Susan Osborn, grandchildren Ryan (Michelle) Osborn , Shannon (Barry)Gandy, and great grandchildren, Rylee and Colin Osborn and Savanna Gandy and his sister, Mary Urion.rnrnCome celebrate 84 happy years Saturday 9 to 11AM at Daley Life Celebration Studio, 1518 Kings Hwy., Swedesboro where the service will be at 11AM. 1. Vicki LaSala (DeSimone) says:

Our thoughts and prayers are with you….my Mom-Mom (Emma) told me many funny stories over the years about her, Libby, Pete, Charles and Jimmy…..there is not a day that goes by that I don’t think of her and I continue to pass my memories along to my children. Always hold your memories close to your heart. Love, Vicki
