Florence G. Stellwag

Florence G. Stellwag (nee Ladzinski)rnrnRiverside residentrnrn For generations Florence has been her family’s mother and caregiver. From a very young age when she would look after her brother, to the time when she was blessed with her own children and again later, when it was nearly impossible to take the grandchildren from her home, she was always dedicated to her family. Her motherly nature extended to Holy Cross High School, where she ran the kitchen for 27 years. Never one to sit and stare at the walls, her contributions could be seen throughout Riverside. She was the past President of St. Peter’s Altar Rosary Society, the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Knight of Columbus, and the Ladies’ Auxiliary Riverside Fire Company #1. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters and a former member of St. Peter’s Parish Council. Her love and dedication to the church was seen in many ways. Always anxious to volunteer, no spaghetti dinner or carnival would be complete without her involvement. And she was always very proud of her two siblings that entered the clergy; Sister Julia Ladzinski and Reverend Monsignor Casimir Ladzinski.rnFlorence is the wife of the late Claude L. for 49 years. Mother of Sandra L. Craft (Ron) of Delran, and Claudia M. Samero (Victor) of Beverly, grandmother of Kelly Wells of VA, Kimberly Sproles of Riverside, Rachel and Carrie Craft of Delran, and great-grandmother of Shayne, Zaine and Jackie. Survived by her sister, Sister Julia Ladzinski brother Reverend Monsignor Casimir Ladzinski, sister-in-law Dorothy Ladzinski as well as many members of the Stellwag and Ladzinski families.rnCome Celebrate 84 wonderful years Sunday 7-9 PM and Monday 10:30-11:30 AM at the Sweeney Funeral Home Riverside.
