Dominic Alan Lombardo, Sr.

Dominic Alan Lombardo, Sr.

He was a hard worker; Dominic knew his way around a job site. He was a carpenter for Philadelphia local 1050. As a parent it was his way or the highway, but he knew that’s what it took to raise quality boys. He taught them that life was about balancing respect for others with standing up for one’s self. His younger years found him on a baseball diamond atop the mound. In his later years he enjoyed playing a little golf. He was the uncle who’d introduce you to Led Zeppelin and many of life’s adventures.
He is survived by two sons, Staff Sgt. Dominic Lombardo Jr. and his wife, Brittany and Anthony Lombardo; his sister, Daria Lavendar and her husband Jim; his grandson, Dominic and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his brother, Joseph Lombardo.
Come celebrate 53 great years Saturday 9-10 a.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro where there will be a service at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to United Way of Gloucester County (www.uwcnj.com) will be appreciated.

I’m so very sorry for your loss. I had many conversations, and some good laughs with him when he and I both worked for Tom Wentzel Company. He was one of the good guys I thoroughly enjoyed working with for many years. My prayers are with you all during this very sad time.
