I am not sure what to write. However, I feel like I need to say something. I have only known Mrs. Michener for less than two months. This was my son’s first year of preschool, and he cried and clung to me for the first three or four times of class. It was heartbreaking. I was amazed at the comfort Mrs. Michener offered not only to my son, but to myself. Then, everytime I picked my son up he was smiling ear to ear. And there were so many wonderful things he said and showed us, that he said that’s whats Mrs. Michener showed me. So, even though she was only in our lives a short time, she is extremely missed. And I just want to say Thank you to her for being there for my Bobby when he needed her. But I suspect that is what her life was all about.

I would like to send my deepest sympathies to Fay’s family for your loss. Miss Fay was my daughter’s preschool teacher at Watch Me Learn two years ago. She held my daughter’s hand and wiped her tears during the almost 3 weeks it took for her to adjust to being away from home. During the short six months I knew Fay, she helped my daughter grow from a shy toddler to a confident, compassionate little girl. I owe a lot to Fay and want her family and friends to know that she touched the lives of people who knew her for even a short time. Fay and her family will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

“Miss Fay” was my grandson’s teacher at Lion and the Lamb Preschool. She was faithful teaching the Bible to her little ones and Tyler absorbed every word. He asked Jesus to be his Saviour because of her and I will forever hold her dear to my heart for her influence on him. The last day I saw Miss Fay she smiled at me like I had never seen her smile before. That will be my memory when I think of her. I hope her jewels God gives her are lightweight, because I know she will have so many it will be hard for her to wear her crown. Thanks for sharing Miss Fay with us.

Dearest family, Your dear Fay touched many hearts and lives and although it is hard to imagine the world without her, it is easy to imagine heaven rejoicing because she is there. I am thanking God today for Fay’s precious gift of friendship to me and pray for you during this difficult time. rnMatthew 25:21
