Lisa Klidzia

Lisa Klidzia

She could light up any room. Lisa had a habit of wandering into private parties: problem was that people loved her so much they wouldn’t let her leave. She was known as the Dancing Queen, doing her moves til she was black and blue especially, in Asbury Park at the Paradise and the Empress. Lisa’s greatest joy was spreading joy. Even her hair was joyous, brightly dyed blues, pinks, purples and reds to celebrate the holidays. She never forgot a birthday and her handmade cards full of stamps and stickers were the stuff of legends. If you were lucky enough to get one, you’d never forget it. Christmas time found her hunting down gifts for everyone she knew; she thought it better to give than to receive. And she loved to memorialize her favorite pictures and moments in her many scrapbooks. She loved seeing the shows at the Casinos and battling the occasional slot machine. Her tastes were top shelf: lobster, filet and salmon. If her T.V. was on she’d be checking in with the Hallmark Channel. Breakfasts were best enjoyed outside Lucy the Elephant where Lisa could stare up at her for hours or being serenaded by Elvis’ Love Me Tender.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Denise Dobbins; her sister, Stephanie (Justin) Ortholf; her aunts, Joanne Dobbins and Lisa Fiorile; her uncle, Wally (Tracy) Dobbins; nieces, Brianna and Serenity and nephew, Justin Jr.

Come celebrate 48 great years, Tuesday October 7, 10 a.m. to noon at Daley Life Celebration Studio, 1518 Kings Highway, Swedesboro where there will be a noon service. Donations in lieu of flowers to Tunnels to Towers t2t.org.

I was so heartbroken 💔 to hear of Lisa’s passing. She was the happiest person I ever met! She was the best pitcher on the Mantua Challenger team and cherish all the memories we shared in those years! May you rest in peace and you will always be in our hearts 💞! I babysat Lisa and Stephanie when they were kids. I’ll never forget how Lisa would make me laugh all the time. She was one of a kind. I loved that girl.
My heart goes out to Denise and Stephanie and the rest of the family. She’s on the other side making others laugh now. No more sickness or pain.
    She’s with you always.
