Kathleen Kidwell

Kathleen Kidwell

It is with immense sadness that we announce that Kathleen Kidwell (Henderson, formerly DiTullio) passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025 surrounded by her family and loved ones. Kathie grew up making memories in Folcroft, PA and spent much of her life proudly raising her children in Springfield, PA. However the highlight of her life was moving to her dream home – a horse farm in Mullica Hill, NJ with her husband, John.

Kathie will be remembered for her huge heart, love for her family, quick wit, incredible sense of humor, fantastic meals, and her ability to make everyone feel a part of her family. She overcame so many obstacles in her life and did so with grace, humor, and a strength that was admired by all who knew her story. Being a mother was her greatest joy in life and her children and grandchildren brought her so much happiness in everything they did.

We were incredibly lucky to have been given the blessing of spending her final hours with her – laughing & praying with her, and she passed peacefully as she listened to her favorite sounds – her children, husband, and loved ones laughing and retelling cherished old memories. She left this world with a smile – and was most certainly greeted on the other side by a huge crew of loved ones patiently awaiting her arrival – who she mentioned she “couldn’t wait to see and eat a big Italian dinner with them all.”

Kathie is survived by her loving husband of 20+ years John Kidwell, her children Maria DiTullio, the late Al (Tully) DiTullio (Cirlene), Gina Moulder (Larry), Niki Rechner (Kevin), Joe DiTullio (Nicole), her loving sister Laurie Velardi (Hank) as well as her brother and sister in law Anthony & Marie DiTullio. Additionally, she leaves behind loving step-children John Kidwell Jr. (Kathleen), Michele Kidwell, and Karen Trost. Lastly, she will be forever missed by her grandchildren, Alexis DiTullio, Kevin Rechner Jr., Andrew Rechner, Sydney DiTullio, Luke DiTullio, Lake Moulder, JJ DiTullio, Matthew Rechner, Ryan Kidwell, Matthew Kidwell, Michael Trost, Colin Trost, Nate Kidwell, Justin Kane, and Brynn Kidwell. Additionally, she leaves behind dozens of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever miss her.

Kathie was predeceased by her first husband, Al DiTullio, her son, Al DiTullio Jr., her parents, Lois & Jim Henderson, and her cherished brother Michael Henderson.

We will miss her every day – all day – forever.

Kathie’s final wish was for us to “take care of each other.” We will mom, we learned from the best. XO

Come celebrate Kathleen June 17, 10 to 11:45 a.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro where you can tell a great story about her at the noon storytime service.

    John
    John,
I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Your beautiful wife was truly one of a kind—generous, warm, and so very funny. She had a heart that radiated love and kindness, not only to her children and grandchildren, but to her stepchildren, their families and everyone blessed to know her. She made a lasting impact on so many lives, and she will be missed forever and ever.

My heart breaks for you. Losing someone so dear leaves a hole nothing can ever quite fill. Broken hearts take time to heal—and I’m praying every day that yours begins to mend with peace, love, and support surrounding you.

I know how deeply she loved you. More than 20 years of sharing your life, your home, and your heart meant the world to her. That kind of love is rare, and it lives on in the memories you created together. I hope you can feel some comfort knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved son, Tulli, and that their spirits are watching over you.

Sending you my love and the biggest hug. ❤️

    With heartfelt sympathy,
    Denise

    Kathy’s Children
My heart is with each of you as you face this unimaginable loss. Your mom was a truly wonderful woman—generous, kind, and with a sense of humor that could light up a room. She was one of those rare souls who made everything better just by being there, and her love for her family was always so clear and powerful.

I loved her more than you may know. She had such a big heart and left an imprint on everyone lucky enough to know her. Her spirit, laughter, and warmth will never be forgotten. She was a gift—and I know she will be missed forever and ever.

Now she’s reunited with your dad and her beloved son Tulli, and I hope there’s some peace in knowing they are together again.

Sending you all my deepest sympathy, love, and strength. Hugs to all of you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    With all my heart,
    Denise
