Gabrielle was unapologetically herself. Always the brightest light in the room, her creative energy put a smile on every face. She created her art in just about every imaginable medium: painting, baking, furniture and even nails. Kids were naturally attracted to her. Especially her niece and nephew! She’d hop down on the floor with them, play with them, and watched all their favorite movies. And if anyone thought she was a cool aunt…then they had to of known she was the greatest sister on this earth. Not only to her older yet much shorter sister, Kayla, but to her brother as well. Her and Giovanni (only 15 months apart) were inseparable from day one. More than just average siblings, they shared an unbreakable bond. They saw concerts together, went on trips together, played video games together, and drove each other crazy together.
Then her role as a best-friend …that title isn’t nearly enough to express all that Gabbie was, but it’s a start. She always knew exactly what to say or do to get you laughing in an instant, and she brought the kind of loyalty and love to friendship that people spend their entire lives searching for. She and her best friend even got the opportunity to travel to Europe, visiting France, Italy, and Spain.
She graduated from GCIT and focused on baking while a student. She never lost her love for it, her co-workers being the biggest recipients of her cakes, cupcakes and a myriad of other baked creations. She loved horror films, her favorite being Killer Clowns from Outer Space. She even met the cast and hung out with them. She’d been to many a concert (Slipknot, Korn, Metallica, Limp Biscuit) and loved finding obscure and weird Barbies. She binged watched everything from Stanger Things to Friends and always had a baking show on in the background.
She noticed a boy on Bumble with a duck on his shower curtain. She had a similar duck tattoo. It was enough to get them talking and comfortable enough to meet for sushi with a second date to Six Flags complete with matching capes. Cody and Gabrielle would share the last three years together. She is survived by her father, David; her stepmom, Kim Aureli-Haines; her sister, Kayla (John Davis) Haines; her brother, Giovanni Haines; step siblings, Leah Aureli, Landon Aureli and Levi Aureli; her niece, Lailah; her nephew, Isaiah; her dog, Kuzco and her cat, Reisling. She was pre-deceased by her mother, Jennifer Milanese.
