Thomas Hoffman

Thomas Hoffman

He was never more at home than when Tom was out on his boat, fishing rod in hand. Of course, he was just as happy to be at Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops, investing in some more rods, reels and lures. If his T.V. was on, he’d be checking out some Westerns (Gunsmoke and Bonanza). He spent his life in Riverside, graduated from Riverside High School and always had a dog by his side. Earlier years found him working as a Burlington County Bridge police officer.

He’d meet a pretty girl, the late Mary Lou. So enamored, he’d fight to win her heart. They’d share a 64-year marriage blessed by 4 children, Scott (the late Lisa), Kim (Herb) Rambo, Jimmy (Beth) and Eric (Susan); 11 grandchildren, John (Kate), Brad, Holly (Joshua), Jennifer (Christopher), Kelli, Nicole, Aaron, Eric, Lauren, Nicholas and Joshua; and 6 great grandchildren, Aaden, Joshua, Everleigh, Eloise, Brielle and Chloe. He was the son of the late Russell and Dorothy Hoffman, and brother of the late, Rich (Lynn). He is survived by his sister, Joan Serio, his brother-in-law, George (Martha) Seeds and their son, Thomas.

Come celebrate 86 cantankerous years Thursday June 5th, 9-11 a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, 337 Bridgeboro Street, Riverside where there will be an 11 a.m. service. Interment Lakeview Cemetery, Cinnaminson.
