Ralph F. Ulissi

1933 – 2026

Ralph Ulissi was a lifelong resident of Beverly and Edgewater Park, NJ, and he was very active in both communities. He attended Beverly Elementary School and graduated from Burlington Senior High School in 1951. He served his Country in the Korean War and went on to operate a successful Building Contractor business for over 50 years.

As a boy, he was a member of Boy Scout Troop #8 in Beverly. Soon after that, he become a Life Member of Beverly Fire Company No. 1 and a Life Member of the Beverly Emergency Squad. In his youth, Ralph was a member of the Beverly American Legion Post #115 Sons of the American Legion, where his father Anthony Ulissi also was a proud WWI Veteran member. Ralph became a member of that post for over 70 years after his return from the Korean War, where he served our Country in the U.S. Army 24th Infantry Division and was Honorably Discharged as a Corporal.

Ralph served many years on the Board of the Monument Cemetery until his passing, and he was especially active in the creation and operation of the Veterans Section of the cemetery.

Ralph was well known as an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing, and he loved working with his many Brittany Spaniels (and other breeds) since he was a young man. Ralph also was an active member of the South Park Hunting Club as well as a member of the English Setters Club of America.

Services will be held at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 158 Warren St., Beverly NJ, with visitation from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, a memorial service at 11 am, followed by interment at Monument Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Monument Cemetery of Beverly, 812 Bridgeboro Rd., Beverly, NJ 08010.
