Christopher Kaczmarsky

Chris lived his life as the light in the room, a man who possessed the ability to make every person he met feel like the most important person in the world. Whether he was connecting with nurses at the hospital, chatting with lifeguards at the community pool, or motivating a national sales team, Chris operated with a singular philosophy: he saw the good in everyone.

Born in Boston and raised in Sudbury, Massachusetts. He was a standout athlete at Lincoln-Sudbury High School, where he was voted captain of the lacrosse team—not just for his skill, but for his instinct to take younger players under his wing. He carried that spirit of camaraderie to college, where he traded his lacrosse stick for the grit of rugby, playing loosehead prop with the same relentless energy he brought to everything else.

Professionally, Chris was a force in the cybersecurity software world. As a National Sales Manager for companies like ConnectWise and Viper, he wasn’t just selling software; he was building relationships. He was an “embracing” leader who managed by talent, not by volume, leading teams of 15 with a supportive hand and sharp wit.
But to those who knew him best, Chris was “Kaz”—the brother who would drop everything to make time for his sisters, the uncle who engaged and nurtured his nieces and nephew, and the son who never missed a night at the hot tub with his dad. He was a man of contrasts: a powerlifter who could squat 550 pounds and total 1,350 across his lifts, yet a gentle listener who could talk to anyone about anything. He was a wanderer and an explorer, a man who once broke his collarbone on a backyard bike ramp and once “lost” his family at Disney World because he was too busy studying the mechanics of the Small World characters.

He loved the Patriots, the Red Sox, and the 15-minute MLB summaries he watched with his father. He loved his cozy sweaters, pink button-down shirts, his beard, and he braved the tradition of the Polar Bear Plunge—of course he did it wearing a wool kilt.

Chris leaves behind a legacy of joy, nicknames, and a family that will forever miss the sound of him calling out to his mom, “Mama Dukes.” He is survived by his parents, Myron and Robin; his sisters, Courtney (Ari) and Chelsea (Charles); his nephew Niko; and his nieces Clarissa, Caroline, and Celeste.

Come celebrate Chris’s life on Monday August 31st, gathering 9:00 to11:00 a.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio, 1518 Kings Highway, Swedesboro NJ where there will be an 11:00 a.m. service. Interment at Lake Park Cemetery, Swedesboro. Following the interment please join us at the “BLK SHP” restaurant (next to the Red Hen) from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., 1301 Kings Hwy., Swedesboro, NJ 08085. In lieu of flowers, donations to please donate to the Ukrainian relief effort: World Central Kitchen (donate.wck.org).
