Carol Robinson

Carol Robinson

Carol was a person of extraordinary grace and kindness. She was known for her zest for life and love of her family. Carol never let any of life’s hiccups or challenges hold her back from what she loved doing. She was a wonderful wife with a passion for travel and photography. She loved the white sand beaches of the Caribbean and sipping pina colada’s on the beach. She had an eye for capturing the most perfect photo at just the right moment. Wildlife photography was her favorite and she made many visits to local swampy areas where she captured the perfect shot. Her talents extended to the kitchen. Some of her favorite times were bringing her family together to share a meal that she had crafted. She was a great cook and could whip up anything that popped into her head. She took inspiration from old family recipes and was never afraid of a challenge. She worked for many years as a court reporter in Logan Twp but her true calling in life was being a wife, mother and grandmother. She’d meet the love of her life at a New Years Eve party: a late-night mummers strut would lead to a 50 year and 7 month marriage with Tom blessed by two daughters, Kimberly and Jennifer; and later by her grandchildren, Robert, Andrew, Abigail, Jake and Luke. She prized family above all and was deeply devoted to her husband, daughters and her grandchildren. As a mom she embedded a strong moral compass in her daughters and then she set them off to explore and use it. MomMom was at every competition, recital, and event her grandchildren had. Whether it was traveling to watch them compete, making breakfast after sleepovers, or a well needed hug to calm them down, Carol never let them down.
