Angelina Buckland

Angelina Buckland

Angelina knew the trick to living to 98: she stayed active. She walked several miles a day, having lived most of her life in Southwest Philly and never owning a car. Later years found the city girl transitioning to Auburn where she enjoyed watching the horses on the property. She kept her mind sharp doing crossword puzzles, watched the occasional gameshow and loved solving murder cases with Law and Order type shows. Of course, if the Phillies were on, she’d be rooting for them as well. She was a great cook; just about anything Italian and the best meatballs and gravy. Earlier years found her working as a bookbinder, but she found her real calling as a grandmother, reading to them and teaching them to cook and clean.

She was the wife of the late Jack; mother of the late Jean (Paul) Pudlinski; grandmother of Christine (Colleen) McCauley and Michael; great-grandmother of Erik, Jack, Catie, Augustina and Rochelle and great-great grandmother of Derrick; and the last surviving sibling of Margaret, Teresa, Carlo, Vincent, Josephine and Gloria.

Come celebrate 98 great years Wednesday 10-11 a.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio, 1518 Kings Highway Swedesboro where there will be an 11 a.m. service. Interment Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Broomall P.A.
