Alma – Alloway

rnFor Alma motherhood was job one. Her motto wasn’t spare the rod: her children learned right from wrong, although she did know where and when to spoil. Her house was always the place for family parties. She would take weeks making sure the decorations were just right. She was a social butterfly who loved the glamour of travel, most notably her trips with the Logan Twp. Senior Club. Dollywood and Alaska were the highlights. Always ready to lend a hand, she volunteered at the Cinnaminson Nursing Home and Pennsauken Ambulance Squad.rnShe was married to the late William, the love of her life, and is survived by her “disciplined” children: Charles Hillwig, of Cinnaminson, James Hillwig of Sicklerville, Alma Hillwig-McGinn of Woodlynne and Richard Hillwig of Blackwood; a brother, James Tye; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.rnHer 84 mothering years were celebrated privately under the direction of Daley Life Celebration Studio.rnrn
