Priscilla is predeceased by her parents Jennie and Louis Schmid of Riverside NJ, her brothers Albert, Louis Jr, Emil Sr, Raymond, and Francis, her granddaughters Kristina Marie Layden and Amanda Lynn Jester, and her son in law Jay. She is survived by her children Donna, Priscilla, Don (Charlotte), her grandsons John Jr (Jenna) and Donald III “DJ”, her great grandchildren Raina Lynn, John III “Jay”, Juliana and Jack, her brothers Bernard (Carol),Michael (Maryiln), her sisters Wanda Swiderski, Barbara Pettite, and Jean Murray. Along with many dear nieces and nephews, and her grandpup Nikko.

Priscilla was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend whose love for others knew no bounds. She was a lifelong resident of Riverside, she attended St. Peter’s School and Riverside High School and remained deeply connected to her faith throughout her life. A devoted Catholic, Priscilla was a longtime member of St. Peter’s Church, where she sang in the choir and shared her faith by teaching religious education, and being a part of the St. Franciscan order.

Priscilla found her calling as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant, a role she embraced with compassion and dedication. She was deeply committed to her patients, always going above and beyond for them and their families, treating each person with dignity, kindness, and care.

She was very proud of her Polish heritage and would cook meals that would bring her whole family together. She enjoyed music, singing, movies, and long drives with her grandchildren, but above all, she cherished time spent with her family. Priscilla spoiled her grandchildren with love, laughter, and endless compassion. She was always just a phone call away, no matter the need.

Known for her generous heart, Priscilla would help anyone in need and never turned anyone away.

Come celebrate 82 great years on Saturday February 14th from 10am to noon where there will be a noon service at Sweeney Funeral Home Riverside. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers Priscilla requested donations to C.H.O.P. (Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia) 6th floor cardiac unit.
