Robert John Fisher

Robert John Fisher

Bob was a hard-working guy, most of his career spent at Boeing in Ridley Park. But he wore many hats during his life including tax preparer and policeman. In his spare time, he played a little golf, enjoyed a few Johnny Walker Blacks, fought the one-armed bandits at the Tropicana (he hit more than his fair share of jackpots) and hit the dance floor anytime there was swing music playing. If his T.V. was on, he’d be catching up with Perry Mason, Columbo and Matlock. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, lived in Blackwood for many years and recently moved to Swedesboro.
He is survived by his children, Nancy Fey (Sonny), Lynda Glenn (Doug), Robert Fisher (Cathy) and Jamie Kirkpatrick (Kevin); 12 grandchildren, Chas, Robert, Tyler, Nancy Jo, Christina, Emily, Robert, Caitlyn, Doug, Connor, Ciara and Kevin and two great-grandchildren, Charlie and Dorothy. He was the brother of the late Jack, Catherine Tralie (the late Steve), the late Harry, Delores Gillespie (the late John), the late William Fisher (the late Judy) and Helen Ambrozy (the late Joe).
Come celebrate 85 great years Wednesday 9-10:30 a.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio, 1518 Kings Highway, Swedesboro NJ 08085 where there will be a 10:30 a.m. service. Interment will be Thursday 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon P.A.
