Kathleen Kidwell
It is with immense sadness that we announce that Kathleen Kidwell (Henderson, formerly DiTullio) passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025 surrounded by her family and loved ones. Kathie grew up making memories in Folcroft, PA and spent much of her life proudly raising her children in Springfield, PA. However the highlight of her life was moving to her dream home – a horse farm in Mullica Hill, NJ with her husband, John.
Kathie will be remembered for her huge heart, love for her family, quick wit, incredible sense of humor, fantastic meals, and her ability to make everyone feel a part of her family. She overcame so many obstacles in her life and did so with grace, humor, and a strength that was admired by all who knew her story. Being a mother was her greatest joy in life and her children and grandchildren brought her so much happiness in everything they did.
We were incredibly lucky to have been given the blessing of spending her final hours with her – laughing & praying with her, and she passed peacefully as she listened to her favorite sounds – her children, husband, and loved ones laughing and retelling cherished old memories. She left this world with a smile – and was most certainly greeted on the other side by a huge crew of loved ones patiently awaiting her arrival – who she mentioned she “couldn’t wait to see and eat a big Italian dinner with them all.”
Kathie is survived by her loving husband of 20+ years John Kidwell, her children Maria DiTullio, the late Al (Tully) DiTullio (Cirlene), Gina Moulder (Larry), Niki Rechner (Kevin), Joe DiTullio (Nicole), her loving sister Laurie Velardi (Hank) as well as her brother and sister in law Anthony & Marie DiTullio. Additionally, she leaves behind loving step-children John Kidwell Jr. (Kathleen), Michele Kidwell, and Karen Trost. Lastly, she will be forever missed by her grandchildren, Alexis DiTullio, Kevin Rechner Jr., Andrew Rechner, Sydney DiTullio, Luke DiTullio, Lake Moulder, JJ DiTullio, Matthew Rechner, Ryan Kidwell, Matthew Kidwell, Michael Trost, Colin Trost, Nate Kidwell, Justin Kane, and Brynn Kidwell. Additionally, she leaves behind dozens of nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever miss her.
Kathie was predeceased by her first husband, Al DiTullio, her son, Al DiTullio Jr., her parents, Lois & Jim Henderson, and her cherished brother Michael Henderson.
We will miss her every day – all day – forever.
Kathie’s final wish was for us to “take care of each other.” We will mom, we learned from the best. XO
Come celebrate Kathleen June 17, 10 to 11:45 a.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro where you can tell a great story about her at the noon storytime service.
